Ti Marine Contracting AS has been active in the insulation business field both industrial and marine, since 1918. The demand for more efficient technology and better quality from the market has increased steadily through the years, and Ti Marine Contracting’s success in meeting this demand has always rested on development of new and more efficient solutions. The company is wholly owned by the Unitor group comprising a network of units in more than sixty countries around the world.

TI Marine Contracting AS has specialized in pipe and tank insulation for tankers carrying liquefied gas (LPG, LEG, LNG) at design temperatures down to –196°C. In addition to expertise, the capability to act as advisors and partners in the field of low temperature insulation is possible thanks to a strong project orientation and constant focus on cost effectiveness. We are working with new projects as well as service and upgrading of existing installations and plants.

Through our wholly owned subsidiary company in UK, Ticon Insulation Ltd, we are also participating in insulation projects of more traditional kind for industry and the marine market. One of our main markets in UK is the navy, where Ticon is playing a major role as a leading supplier and insulation contractor to the new builds for the Royal Navy fleet. The company is also heavily involved in after service and repair for the navy.
